How it works

Nearly every irrigation controller has a rain-sensor input: a simple circuit that, when tripped, tells the controller to skip watering. kukoo installs across those terminals and behaves exactly like a rain sensor — but instead of reacting to a few drops on a plastic disc, it acts on real soil moisture measured by gophr probes in the ground, delivered through the magpi gateway. When the soil is sufficiently wet, kukoo trips the circuit and your system stands down; when it dries out, watering resumes on the normal schedule.
